ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Evangeline Yolee is a passionate nurse, singer‑songwriter, clinical trainer, lifelong learner—and now, a devoted children’s book author. Combining her nurturing spirit with creative expression, she channels her childhood love of reading and imaginative exploration into stories that comfort and uplift.
Growing up in a military family in Germany exposed her to a wide array of childhood experiences: adjusting to new schools, coping with loss, navigating bullying, and finding inner strength amid change. Inspired by real emotions she witnessed in children during those times, Evangeline writes gentle, imaginative, and accessible stories to help young readers process big feelings in a safe, loving space.
Her debut picture book, Adventures of Parakletos: Where It All Began, introduces Parakletos, a colorful and wise parrot, who gently guides the Wee Ones back to the pure, powerful frequency of Love—a foundational journey of identity, belonging, and emotional healing. The story combines lyrical language with meaningful messages, making it both engaging and soothing for young readers.
Evangeline now resides in East Tennessee, where she shares her days with fur babies and delights in the local wildlife that frolics across her yard. Her personal motto— “Be kind, never let fear hold you back, and reach for the stars.”—reflects her creative ethos and approach to storytelling.
